Tips for measuring proper Long putter shaft length:
The Long Putter can be anchored in a variety of methods. It can be anchored at the breastbone under his chin, firmly anchored against the upper breastbone, while some golfers even anchor their top hand against their chin. We recommend that the you see what feels most comfortable to you possibly using a broomstick or something to approximate a long shaft to get a feel of which hand positions that are most comfortable. Once the position of the top of the putter has been determined then assume a comfortable address position and then have another person measure the distance from the top of the top hand (left hand for right handed golfers) to the floor. Or mark the broom where you hand is comfortable and take your measurement. The USGA rules state under Appendix II 1. Clubs, that the minimum legal putter lie is 10(80)*. And that the putter cannot be held at address at less than that same lie. So using 11(79)* as our most upright lie stays within the rules and gives you a 1* forgiveness in your stance at ball address. Would you like to add some flare to your putter apart from our standard natural aluminum bead blasted finish with black inserts and lines? Now you can! Your Custom Color putter head is individually powder coated and finished to your desired color combination. After selecting your putter from above and adding it to your shopping cart, use the drop down menus to select the color combination you would like for your putter head and add it to your cart along with your putter. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to prepare and ship your custom color putter. Most of the colors describe themselves except for: Almost Chrome is a metallic silver color. Black Chrome is a dark gray metallic color. I would also suggest making a good contrast choice between your Head Color and Inserts / Lines Color. As an example I wouldn't recommend a dark color with black inserts.
