The Basics of the Putters
For the Traditional putter we use a chrome stepless steel putter shaft. Gripped with Winn AI Excel-AVS Black Midsize Pistol Grip. For Counter Balanced we use True Temper Chromed Steel shaft gripped with Winn 21" Grip.  Long and Side Saddle we use a True Temper Chromed Steel shaft. Gripped with tacki-mac 2PC Black Putter grips. The putter head is made from 6061-T6  Grade Aluminum, and 360 Series Brass. The head is precision milled from solid stock. Something you hardly see these days in a club. Most all of today's clubs are made from a casting, and can contain imperfections. Using solid stock assures  precision balance. The brass rounds are press fit into the head for weight and sight alignment. This is a heel-toe balanced putter. The Backbone has a shafted head weight of 480 grams.
The Head of the Putter
Dimensions of the head: 1" thick, 3 1/2" wide, 3" long. Brass inserts top left and right are 1/2" diameter, center top 5/8" dia, center back 3/4" dia. 10 degree wings are milled onto the bottom sides to provide you with ability to make adjustment in your stance. The aluminum heads are given a glass bead finish then are satin clear POWDER COATED for a long lasting durable finish. The top of the brass inserts are black POWDER COATED then press fit into the head. Finally the face is precision milled at 0 degree angle. That's right ZERO. Most other manufacturers putter faces have a 2-5 degree loft. It is said to give you a true roll at the start of your putt, but. Ever have a 20+ foot putt jump, skip, or hop the first few inches or more where you read some break in your putt? Degreed clubs give you loft. No loft is needed on the green. You want your putt to roll true and straight and 0 degrees gives that. The "horseshoe"  backbone design is to focus the majority of the head weight behind the ball where it is needed the most on impact.  Inputting the shafts directly out of the head gives a superior ball / putter contact feel in your hands.
Ball Geometry & Backbone Design
We've combined our Force Focus style with a "horseshoe" backbone adding increased head weight, balance, and MOI to our already proven design. Backbone has the same brass weighting placement as the Force Focus with the added arch back weight in a one piece aluminum body. The outer rounds aid in head cup alignment. The middle rounds line up to the center of the ball. The front and backbone sight lines are spaced 1.680" apart. Regulation golf ball diameter. Giving you our Force Focus Series 3 sight aids in one head design! The location of the shaft input in relation to the head weight gives a pendulum like swing in your hands.
3 Sight Alignment
More is better! Why should we line up a putt with just thin lines on a thin head? Force Focus Backbone gives you 3 sight alignment aids in one head design! The front outer rounds aid in head - cup alignment. The front and back middle rounds line up to the center of the ball. The front and backbone sight lines are regulation golf ball diameter 1.680" apart. A trifecta for lining up your putt! So are you ready to improve your game on the green?
